PS3 DTS-HD-MA "Limited" ??? - Blu-ray Forum

I haven't seen this posted anywhere so I thought I would ask about it.
When you go to system information in the PS3s menu it shows the DTS HD Master Audio Logo but it also says "limited" I checked DTS's website and can't find any info on it. What does it mean?

I noticed that too... may be just because it can't be bitstreamed, which doesn't really matter... but not sure

it means you have a limited amount of dts ma blus to watch before it expires

thats coming in a patch. they forgot to add it.

Just talk'n out my a$$... But maybe it has something to do with the problems they are having with the NL movies.

I believe it has to do with what the PS/3 can support in the DTS-HD core.

The core could be DTS-ES, but I don't think the PS/3 supports decoding that to 7 (6.1) channels. It's redundant with DTS-HD MA support.
