Are the controls and graphics on the PS3 version of this game inferior to the one released for the 360 or is it just my imagination?
I believe they pushed this game thru for the PS3 just to get it out there! Although the PS3 is more technologically advanced I'd take the 360 version of this game any day. After playing resistance fall of man on the PS3 the CTD3 game is a letdown. |

I though it was called Call of Duty 3?
![]() Its been known that the developers had little time to work on the ps3 version compare to the 360 version. They just simply had more time and experiences working with the 360, allowing them to create a better, smoother gameplay experiences. I still think that the ps3 game launch (graphically) was pretty good given that Microsoft had head start. |

My friend has both versions, he says they are both only so-so, he went on to say a few things are missing from the xbox360 version and it looked like a cut & paste job.
I personally won't invest in subpar games, R:FOM is enough to hold me over (And BD movies ofcourse) until the goods come this spring/summer/Fall 07 |

For COD3, both of them are the same. No one is better than the other. However, if you do want a multiplatform title, get Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. It is better than even the X360 and the Wii version. Check the gamespot review on it. The creator/programmer notes that we were able to add certain graphical effects that were not possible with the XBOX 360 nor on the Wii. Just pointing out. ![]() |

Having seen both versions, I already had the 360 version and someone gave me the PS3 version for Christmas I would have to say the 360 version is slightly better. I ended up giving the PS3 version to a friend.

I read in a few places that somehow, the 360 version might have had slight better frame rates and, of course, the rumble.
Beyond that, I'd be interested to see what smallville's answer is to that question. In any event, I hope COD3 comes out on the PC at some point, because that's the only way I play my shooters: Mouse and keyboard, which are still the best controls of all. |

![]() Here's one quote and the reviews from Gamespot.com Call of Duty 3's visuals are great, though a problematic frame rate leaves the game looking decidedly less impressive than it does on the Xbox 360. http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/acti...0of%20duty%203 http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/c...0of%20duty%203 They are both great, but the 360 version is slightly better, even more so if you play online, here's another quote: Call of Duty 3's online component is more robust on the Xbox 360, but there's still a lot to like on the PlayStation 3. Twenty-four people can play online, but whereas four players per Xbox 360 could go online, just one person can play on a single PS3, and there's no ranked play. Having 24 people in a match makes for some intense action, though it's difficult to make a difference operating as a lone soldier. If the PS3 rated higher than the 360 version, I obviously would have given away the 360 version and kept the PS3 version, that wasn't the case. For someone with only a PS3 they still have themselves a great game. Since I own both systems I go by reviews when a game is multiplatform to get the best overall scoring one. In this instance I was able to play both games even, not just read the reviews, though the reviews did factor into my decision also. Last edited by Smallville206; 01-10-2007 at 02:22 PM. |

I agree with the very slight shortcomings they pointed out which is the only reason I gave the PS3 version away.
The same person who gave me Call of Duty 3 also gave me Ultimate Alliance which I already had for the 360. I haven't decided which version of that I am going to keep yet. I had just got a PS3 so my friend was trying to be nice and pick me up a couple of games not thinking if I might already have them for the 360. |
