Default Online shopping for Blu-ray

Does anyone have any suggestions for different websites for purchasing Blu-ray content online for Canadians. Canadian supply seems fairly dissmal. From what I can see in store and online for Canadian suppliers, Canadians only have half of what is available compared to the States.

Thank you for info you can provide

Yeah, tell me about it.

One concern I have about ordering from the USA is the duty taxes. Basically, that's why I'm reluctant to making any orders from outside the country.

I want 'The Searchers' on Blu-Ray, they have it on HD-DVD in Canada but not the Blu-Ray version even though it's being sold in the USA.

What gives?

Futureshop is Canadian. However, have you looked at their selection and prices?!? It's pathetic and inconsitant. I have many of those titles already. Most of the titles that I am interested in are either "Out of Stock" when they were never in stock to begin with. Futureshop can be bang on for price when a title is released ("Stargate" $19.99) but it is not even in stock. Nor has it been since it's original release date!! "Monsterhouse" for $46.99!!! Give me a break! I hope you see my dilemna. I don't think I am alone in this matter.

Also, Walmart shops in the GTA (That's greater Toronto Area for the americans) are a disgrace for merchandising. BD's and HD's are put in one display case!! Mixed together !! ANGRY!!!

Default Holly Schnickies!!

Man I feel like an idiot!! I was looking around on the net for pricing on BD and I went to BB and CC sites. I hope the general public does not have to pay those prices for BD. If so.... Wow

Again my apologies...

Only the suckers would buy from BoxOffice.com

The prices at that site is outrageous. 93 dollars for the Mission: Impossible boxset on Blu-Ray? I paid 70 bucks for that a while ago. The Sopranos can be bought for a hundred dollars at the local Wal-Mart instead of 131 dollars.

The OP asked about Canadian sites (no mention was made about price), I provided a link . The price at DVDbo is listed in Canadian $$.

Hey guys I found a place located in the GTA for both Blu-ray and HD-DVD. Prices are not the greatest... However, the owner is pretty good about getting titles that are hard to get in Canada eg: The Punisher, Last Samurai, and The Searchers. If you are in the immediate area you can pick it up in the store. Here is the sites link:

http://www.dvd-plus.com/index.asp?site=cd

A lot of the titles are not on the site. However, if you call the store (under contact us) just ask for the title. This store orders a limited supply of BD. However, if there is more interest, guranteed more BD will be available

I hope
