Hello Everyone,
I have an uncompressed avi video file (1920x1080, square pixels, ~5'0", ~50GB) that I burned on a blu-ray disk using Cyberlink software. The software did not give me a lot of choices regarding video output, compression, etc. I used mpg-2 (only choice available) and the final file size on disk is ~800MB (from 46GB). Should there be more compressors and bitrates available or this is pretty much fixed in the BR standard ? I tried to play the disk in a Sony BDP-S5000 BR player connected to a HD TV 1080p and also a Samsung SyncMaster 2693HM monitor (1900x1200 max res) connected with HDMI but the video is always clamped both vertically and horizontally ![]() Many thanks in advance ! |
