Is Home Theater Magazine to HDDVD?

I am a subscriber to Home Theater Magazine and I am also a newbie to Blu-ray.

I spent most of 2006 sitting on the sidelines researching both camps and decided to go Blu-ray last December. So far I think I have made the right choice and I could not be happier with the product.

Anyway I noticed that Home Theater Magazine does not have any Blu-ray movie reviews (at least in the Dec 06 and Jan 07 issues). The Critic's Couch section offers regular DVD and HD DVD reviews but no Blu-ray reviews.

Does anyone what gives?

I enjoy that magazine but I will drop them if it their policy is to not support Blu-ray.

write to the editor and tell them to keep up with reality. HD-DVD is 2006. This is 2007 and beyond, the blu-train is coming

That just means the staff reviewer of the magazine has not yet bought a BD player, which is kinda strange considering its monicker. Dec/Jan means, at least over here, that the final version of the mag has been proofed on October/November 2006, which was the height of the high def war.

If their staffs had gotten a BD player since then or the PS3, then you may see some BD reviews. Or not. Write them up and seek clarification. Tell them to be format neutral in reviewing titles on both sides. Otherwise, you'd seek to terminate your subscription.
