I am looking to buy one of the new BD players that just came out, have $700.00
to spend and want my AVR to decode.? any help, thanks

I don't think anything beats the PS3... but if you want your receiver to light up "DTS-HD-MA" and "Dolby TrueHD" then I gues this is your best bet right now.
