It didn't get good reviews, but I enjoyed it... Dvd Empire has both Face/Off and Next blu-rays for $20.99.

I had Next and Lucky Number Slevin on Blu-ray released by EIV-U.K.

Next : DTS-HD HR @2 Mbps, VC-1, Special Features in SD
Lucky Number Slevin: DTS-HD MA 16-bit, VC-1 , Special Features on SD, No Deleted Scenes.

PQ on Next was terrific (close to reference) besides Jaggies in couple of shots that was also present on the U.S HD DVD.

I sold Next 'coz the stateside version will be AVC encoded and will be featuring LPCM audio and special features on HD. I also sold Lucky Number Slevin as the movie doesn't have any replay value and the PQ has an intentional filtered look.

Both can be bought from dvd.co.uk at $22 a piece.

Heard mixed things on this movie. A lot of people say its an extremely stupid movie. But i've heard certain people say it was really good. I'm so confused

I've noticed his newer films haven't been getting good reviews lately, especially his remake of The Wicker Man. This is a movie I will rent for sure, to see if I like it or not.

Think imma buy it just due to its $19.95 price point. Wont be a big gamble as oppose to going after a FOX title.

I personally place a great deal of weight in critic reviews, so I always recommend using Rotten Tomatoes to see what the rating is. It got pretty bad reviews across the board.

wow, you may go through life and never be able to form your own opinion. If I listened to half the poor comments on certain movies I would live a sheltered life. No rotten tomatoes here, I think I have been there once or twice

I didnt mind The Wicker Man, I havent seen the original though so I have nothing to compare to. I never really go into any movie wit real high expectations and usually can enjoy a movie for what its worth. In this case I think its a definite rent before you buy (even at 19.99). If you can I think StarzHD OnDemand still has it up that way you dont have to spend extra money to try before you buy...

Next is quite a good movie, the ending is unexpected and catches people off guard and i've heard people say its spoils the movie. I thought it was a good ride from beginning to end.

I thought it was alright. It's a movie I'd watch maybe one more time and then probably never again. If you're a big Nicholas Cage fan then I'd say pick it up but it doesn't do anything new or ground breaking.

Next is not a good movie. The idea was kind of interesting but the execution was ridiculous. The plot gimmick never paid off the way it should have.I'm not sad I watched it at once but this is the kind of movie I can watch once and never want to see again. It is not a movie I would add to my collection unless it was free.
