My favorite parody movie...but can't believe I still haven't seen... - Blu-ray Forum

I watched Wrongfully Accused for the umpteenth time, I just can't get enough of Leslie Nielsen he was born to spoofs and hopefully he'll live on in Blu. Is there any indication that Naked Gun will make it to Blu...the opening scene of Wrongfully Accused kills me every time. I'm amazed that everyone I ask about this movie has never seen it ...I've even lent it out a few times and everyone's loved it. So what is everones favotite parody? Hot Shots was is also a great one...How is Young Frankenstien? A friend couldn't believe that I've seen WA but not Young Frankenstein

Young Frankenstein is the best parody ever. Modern parodies are a travesty by comparison.

The only other one I would put up there is Singin' in the Rain, which is really a parody about movie musicals, but some might not term it that way perferring to look at it soley as a musical comedy.

Young Frankenstein has to be one of my favoriate comedies of all time, hands down, parody or not.

How about that Mafia spoof, called, uh..."Mafia!" Jay Mohr, Christina Applegate, Lloyd Bridges...If you haven't seen it, check it out along with Young Frankenstein - that one is the classic spoof of all time IMO.

Young Frankenstein is one of the best parody movies ever made. Definitely worth the purchase.

Some of my other favorite parody movies are Scary Movie 3 (my favorite of all of these), Top Secret and Hot Shots Part Deux. Check them out if you haven't already.

I also thought Wrongfully Accused was hysterical.

Blazing Saddles is my favorite parody. Young Frankenstein (Fron-ken-steen) is also terrific, hard to believe Mel Brooks made both of them in one year.
The one I have not seen is Airplane, I have seen bits and pieces but never the whole thing.

Technically, Walk Hard - The Dewey Cox Story, is a parody movie and it ranks up there with some of the best of them.
