Finally got a Wii!!

finally found a wii system for my daughters birthday the other day. my wife called 4 best buys in the area and one of them out of the 4 had 12 systems in stock. so i used our $375 in RZ coupons & gift cert. and bought the system, extra controller with game, dual charger stand for 2 controllers & gun attachment with crossbow game. also saved $20.00 on accessories with other store coupons. so overall it was a great day. she will be sooooo happy

Cool, now you can have your wii collect dust after everyone gets bored with it (i also have a wii btw). Its funner to hunt down the wii then it is to own it.

not too worried about it as its for my daughter for her birthday. she will have fun playing it with her friends and maybe me once in a while. either way its a great feeling to finally find one and that it came just in time for her birthday next week. so yes it makes me really happy.

Not really, while the wii "charm" does fade fast with most, I have noticed that kids really like the system even though they usually have no idea whats going on. If your daughter is young she will get a big kick out of the system and its a great way to burn out alot of energy that kids usually have.

I have it too and it collects dust. But im sure his daugher will play with it. To say that after he searched everywhere for one for his daughter's birthday is kind of rude... you know?

There definately isnt even a single game beyond Smash Bros that interests me though. And the N64 smash bros will always be the best. At least for its time...

Anyway. Hope your daughter likes her new system. Definately dont forget to pick up Smash Brothers Brawl if you can.

Edit: And dont get Chicken Shoot. Dear god... dont get chicken shoot...

thanks, ya i cant wait to she her face when its all set up and ready to go. i loved the old nintendo stuff, use to be into it alot more when i was younger. did some serious NHL games with my friends, nfl blitz and mario kart was great as well. how is the game called carnival games? it looked pretty good on the back? thanks again

no i had a friend buy a $3000 tv and use my rewards card and my inlaws also bought $5000 worth of stuf for their house (washer/dryer, laptop, etc) and the points racked up. plus i saved a few gift cards from christmas and i had returned some duplicate blu movies and saved the gift card from that as well.

trust me i really wanted to use a few gift cards to buy some blu movies for myself, but i just love my little 6 yr old girl so much that sacrifices have to be made somtimes. she is so good and sweet, she really deserves it

She will have a great B-day thats for sure!!

Trolling? You must be demented. I just pointed out that the fun of the system is actually finding it. And carnival games is pretty fun at first. You do however get tired of it rather quickly. Ive tried out all the major Wii games, you can see my wii collection here:

cool, well maybe if your so sick of your wii i should have bought it from you at a discounted price and saved some money

i plan on getting mostly kids games for it, maybe one of 2 for dad would be cool. like a good shooting game (any recommendations?)
