Any bluetooth to work with Warhawk?

My sister gave me a bluetooth, and for the life of me I can't get it to work with my phone. No instructions.
Do you think any bluetooth will work with the Warhawk game and how do you make it work?

I ask since Warhawk has not gone down in price anywhere
its even -10 bucks (used) with bluetooth at Amazon.

Its either buy this or Call of Duty 4 GOTY, but I read its not a game for 2 players splitscreen.
What happens if I play the game without a blue tooth? Will people get pissed since I can't communicate? Is it a necessity? I don't play MP games so I don't know how they work..imma n00b.
Warhawk will either make or break my MP gaming experience, I usually only play games with in same -room-friends or alone.
