Default Favorite studio logo fanfare/presentation

Just for fun (and setting aside format allegiances for now), which studio is your favorite when it comes to their logo "fanfare" sequence seen at the start of movies?

Fox Fanfare. Simply because, for me, that had always been synonomous with the Star Wars theme. Fox Fanfare, 3 sec pause, Star Wars Theme.

I can't even really think of many others. Maybe MGM, for the Bond movies, but most others stay silent during their display, or have the movie soundtrack playing over them.

Fox has always been the most recognizable for me too, followed closely by Warner Bros.

Universal and Paramount (unfortunately) usually have the coolest fanfare tho.

Never thought about it. Almost said Universal Globe, but the torch lady looks SOOO nice in blu-ray. Reminds me of the Statue of Liberty.

Ah, after seeing the poll I see the mistake. You said "fanfare", and for some of these studios, they do not have a "fanfare". If you were talking about their opening logo (even when it is silent or shown with the movie's soundtrack), then I'd have a few more picks.

Marvel always thrills me (Marvel fan, guilty), and Paramount and Columbia look good too. But those were silent, which is why I left them out of the "fanfare" response.

Ahhh but they're not actually silent. Paramount does have music for theirs (I believe the last time it was used was on Mean Girls, and it wasn't used for like a decade before that either). And Columbia has music on a lot of their titles.

Man this is hard... Fox has done the coolest stuff with their logo. Speed 2 had the awesome fade with the music, X-Men has their little X stay on the screen longer, Day After Tomorrow had their stormy stuff behind it, Minority Report had the watery wavy stuff over it, The Simpsons Movie had Ralph which was hilarious, and of course Star Wars... I am going with Fox. Though I don't like the little edgy's that appear in their new digital logo. Columbia Pictures comes in second though. Too bad Jerry Bruckheimer's not up there. His logo is awesome.

Indeed. Ever since I was a kid, I loved the Fox fanfare, even when it's not a Star Wars movie, it makes me think of Star Wars.

Disney, with the castle and fireworks. It's changed over the years, from a simple castle and wave of Tinkerbell's wand at the beginning of The Wonderful World of Disney, to a full blown CGI scene with twinkling lights, a moat, and a train going full steam ahead. No matter how it changes, it always signals the start of something magical...

How could you omit the MGM Lion growl intro? An absolute classic.

1. Walt Disney - obviously the best
2. Fox Searchlight
3. Warner
4. DreamWorks (no matter how low is this studio behaving during the format war)
5. Universal Studios
