Wow... no pun intended, but the Sky is the limit...... You need a budget, because you can spend $500-$700 or so.... or you can spend much more. I can tell you that I'm very happy with my audio system (although still in the upgrading process) but I'm not going to recommend it blindly, because you might be looking to spend far more, or far less.

If you have a budget (or a number you don't want to exceed for fear of divorce ) that'd help!

The smart-ass in me wants to say 'a grammar handbook' - but the nice, helpful Blu-ray member in me compels me to agree with Beta up there and suggest you give us a bit more information for us to help you out.

yea, more info needed...your gonna want a receiver that can output hd audio ( trueHD,pcm, dts ma) and some good speakers to match....Onkyo's are good/cost effective receivers... ( 605,606,705,805 ) ....speakers are a matter of personal taste...search around...you'll find the most popular ones in the audio section here.

Im looking to keep the cost under £500 if possible I was hoping to get a complete package rather than seperates if thats possible I dont realy want a system thats huge in size, my living room size is only 6mX6m so its no a big area to cover.Looks are important as well so the missus says anyway, are any of the samsung systems up to much

As an HTiB, it's solid. I got it solely for the impression of tower speakers (they really aren't). I'd recommend it. But not as a permanent system, this is my stopgap. But the sound and look appeal is great, ...You know, as much as it could be. Fills my technical necessities for the time being.

Other will recommend the Onkyo HTiB, which I can't remember the model number as of the moment.

That is a Home Theater In A BOX and HTIB. Try to get more of a budget.. Same for me i was like under 500. But that was just 250 more than my first set up. So i got some Bic Acoustech speakers and an Onkyo SR 605.

Get a reciever first then speakers.. If you cant afford them.
