USA When do the 2011HD tv models come out/are announced?

I am torn between the Samsung 3D LED and the Panasonic 3D VT25. When I look the Samsung is beautiful, but everyone says to get the VT25 from Panasonic. If the new models come out early-mid 2011 I'll wait and pick up one of new models. When will the new models be available/announced?

Most new models will be announced at the CES show during the first week of January. If you are in the market now it's a good idea to wait and see what gets announced. You never know how the new models might improve. Prices usually get better as the technology goes on as well!!
I would expect availability in the first half of the year.

I also would go with plasma over led any day. I am biased, i hate the look of led. When it comes to 3D nothing beats that panasonic. All expert reviewers say the same thing. No matter what the experts say and everyone you know says it has to please your eyes and your eyes only. I had a buddy just pick up a led and he loves it.

If you're not in a hurry to get a new tv wait. ONe thing about waiting is new technology hopefully better blacks. Panasonic may have more kuro tech in their tv's which to me is kinda exciting. The other thing is the tv's right now will be discounted more to sell off stock.
