Man, the only person that could've made a decent Slender Man movie is Jennifer Kent.

This is just going to be PG-13 teeny bopper crap, me thinks. At least Wish Upon had Audrey Horne and was insane, pulpy enough to be entertaining.

If this ends up being another Bye Bye Man, at least the unrated cut will be marginally more watchable.

I think I only saw the theatrical cut. It wasn't as bad as everyone was saying but it wasn't good either. There was potential but the acting let it down.

Yep that's the one. Not sure if the movie will be a recreation of those events or if it'll be loosely inspired by them.

Ill wait on the trailer to see if it looks interesting. Hopefully its based on the supernatural Slender Man stuff & not the real life case about the 2 girls.

I never got the appeal of Slenderman. Unoriginal, just a cheap Jack Skellington ripoff.
But hey, the kiddies love it so there's money to be made with the movie.

It's probably going to be another cliched noisefest.
There will be a dark room, and the man "won't turn around". Cue silence for four seconds... it's quiet, and the camera slowly pans into the black suited character with their back turned... from medium shot, to medium-close, to closeup... then, he TURNS AROUND REAL FAST - OMGthere'sNOface!! (loud obnoxious screech, and metal CLANK jumpscare noise).

"I'm telling you, there's something out there in the woods."
Scre- (record scratch) ee-ee -ee (metal scraping noise real quick) eech - something flashes in the darkness. Strobe effect. A dark looming figure with scary long arms, just out of view from the light....

A tweenie is hiding in a dark, soggy corner of some building, trying not to breathe hard. The Slenderman is walking by slowly... Phew! He didn't see her!
SCREEECCCH!!!!! Loud noise followed by HIS MISSING FACE RIGHT IN FRONT OF HERS (loud scream noise)!!!

OMG OMG OMG sooo scary!

You could probably play the trailer for IT (2017), and replace the clown with Slenderman. DONE!

It looks rather silly, like all those homemade slender man YT videos, but if it's scary, all will be forgiven.
