I have a full Monitor Audio RS Silver system (with the exception of the sub).

RS6's for the front L and R, the LCR for the center, and the RSFX's for the surrounds.

I've paired them with a Marantz SR7001 (just noticed you have the same).

Love the Monitors, both for movie and music. And I feel that the value of the system has been great for the price.

Not as widely discussed here as B&W's, these British speakers are also very good. Across the front I have Silver 8's (not the newer RS8's) with the silver series LCR that came out at the same time.

I enjoy music on 2-channel and was fortunate to pick up the discontinued B&K 2220 amp (200watts) very cheap. It runs the L&R fronts with everything else directly hooked to my 705. (One of the 705's overlooked features is its pre-outs).

The sound is great, both 2-channel music and HT. Mine are rosewood colored. The real wood veneer is an added bonus.

I'll add that, though they sound good all the time, these babys real shine when you start cranking things up a bit. Beethoven's Ninth or ZZ Top, music with my MA's is fun to listen to, especially if you juice it a little.

I would reccommend the current Silvers (RS6's or 8's) as a great value if purchased new and a steal if you stumble accross any at less the MSRP.

Because MA's (though not necessarily the towers) are popular with installers of custom HT systems or builders promising same, a look at their website may help you find authorized "dealers" who don't actually have showrooms. Usually these guys will order you some at a bit of a discount. Some will even have them drop shiped to you.
