Default Should I buy or wait????

Here at my local store they have some Blu-rays from Paramount & Dream Works that have been discontinued. My question is, should i purchase them now or wait???? Would both studios rerelease the same ones or would put out new ones entirely with new features etc.???? Plz help..............

That's the gamble.

If its Tombraider or The Italian job, just walk away.
Anything else is pretty good as far as I know.

Aeon Flux looks and sounds great.
Failure to Launch is Fun and looks great.
MI: III would be hard to improve upon
We Were Soldiers is great all around.
Sky Captain is great

I'm not too familiar with anything else.

Good luck with your gamble,

As long as they're not overpriced, go for it.

Chances are they will be exactly the same BDs when they're re-released.

I haven't seen Black Snake Moan on bd but I have an awesome story about it. I went to see a early screening of it and Craig Brewer (director) was there and he did a short Q&A after the movie and signed autographs. When my friend and I were about to leave we saw that it was raining and tried to find trash bags to put our signed posters in and while waiting Craig came out and offered us a ride to the metro (it was about a mile away). Awesome guy...

because the studio decided to be with someone with more bling and be eye candy for a few months. Now the ho wants to come back but doesnt quite know how to say I'm sorry and still trying to find a way to run off with the dead pimps ride.

And now, i'm finding out the movie Shooter is also very HARD to find. I wanted to pick this 1 up too, but forking over 60.00-70.00 for copies on Ebay & Amazon is simply ridiculous.

in other words they were on 2 high def formats and chose the dumber one because the dumb one was handing out $150 million to go exclusive to that format which was their biggest mistake paramount and dreamworks have ever made in their whole existence and so us blu-ray fans have been out of the loop from paramount ever since and screwed us

Black Snake Moan has slightly better replay value. In terms of PQ jaw dropping.

The "re-issues" are just going to be the exact same version of the movie that Paramount released before they dropped Blu-ray. So if you have found them and the price is right, there is no point in waiting.
