GI Joe 1987 Animated Movie? Is it ever possible? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm wondering with the new live action film coming out in August 09, what's the chances that the original 1987 animated film would get the blu-ray treatment? My only logic for thinking this is that last year, the original 1986 Transformers animated film got the blu treatment in the UK.

For those who've seen it, yes I agree it is terrible. But I'm a diehard Gi Joe fan and would love to have it on blu-ray just for the sheer awesomeness of old-school Gi Joe on blu-ray.

Anything is possible ! We can all hope ! I'm a huge GI Joe fan myself ! Even had the old time 1970's GI Joe view finder !

Who knows

It certainly won't be Blu-ray though. The movie was never released theatrically, and I doubt they even have the film for it anymore

And I'm certain they won't have Rhino's awesomeness of including all the old commercials and PSAs for it
