Going to get a 5.0 set for the bedroom..... it's an addiction I tell you!!!!!!

To think what I've gotten since about a week after thanksgiving when I first started the upgrade on my main system, to the purchase of my first of two BD players, to all the movies, to now..... makes me smile....... then I think about what it all cost me, and I cry!!!!!

I still have a big wish list, and wife with a VERY short temper right now

I guess you really have to love this hobby!!!!!!

Indeed! I don't look at what it cost me, I look at how much I enjoy it almost every day!

are you in college? how old are you by chance?

what i meant is it takes money to upgrade and some people like me who is the only income and has a family of 4 to provide for does not leave much left over for funds to make upgrades and purchases like someothers on this site. its a fact of life that some are wealthier than others and some people can afford more. me i have to spent money on my house and bills and sometimes i have some left over for play.

Just finished my Senior year at Univ. of Miami - but, since Architecture is a 5 year major, I'm here for another year. 22, as it were. ((I act older than my age, sometimes, eh? ))

I know what you mean though, there is a lot of "outdoing" here - people always trying to outdo the other. There was a time last year in which I was rushing to get all the movies I wanted on Blu-ray - back when I first got into it - that it totally encompassed my budget, swallowed the damn thing. I remember lunch consisting of bread and water for a few weeks. That was stupid of me. Now I've balanced it out better - so, now have time (and money) for everything. Two Blu-rays a week is my limit, and upgrades only once $3,000 is saved up. That's my plan.
