Default Christian Bale signed on for Terminator trilogy

I didn't know he had signed on to do three movies. Here's the low down.

Quote:
he producers of Terminator 4 plan to keep Christian Bale around as John Connor in three Terminator movies total. T4 producer Derek Anderson revealed to the BBC that "he [Bale] read the script and he loved it, so he's signed on for all three."

Another producer, Victor Kubicek, says he'd doubted whether Bale would be up for another trilogy, on the heels of his commitment to the Batman movies. The producers wouldn't discuss any future plots or characters in the films. But I'm assuming if this one is completely in the mechanical world as we revealed last week. Let's hope at least one of them is bound to involve time travel. The question is whether Bale is still taking a backseat to Sam Worthington's new character, in the revised version of the T4 script. And another question remains: how much money would it take for a Governator cameo?
Was this common knowledge?

This is one of the coolest franchises ever. Bale or no Bale, I'm just glad to see these movies continue.

I know for sure; Bale can pull it off very well better than Arnie for sure or Can He?

You mean for actors right? Jon Favreau revealed he was only signed on to direct one Iron Man.

Bale kicks ass, he did have his downer movies (shaft), but T-4 might not be a right for him or right for anyone. Terminator series should have stopped at 2

Sorry. I don't even know what to say to that. "Don't Like, Hate, Too Stupid." Your command of the English language is stunning.

Add one movie critic to the universe as we currently understand it.

So does this mean that Bale is definitely doing a third Batman?

My, my... Marcusarilius, are we a bit snappy today?

I think I know your reasons, but you see...
there's a particular roman saying one should never forget:

I disapprove of your words, but until the end of my life I will vindicate your right to speak them!

It's a tough task, but we all should give it try...

Though I enjoyed Ironman ok, I would rather watch Swingers any day of the week. Would like him to make another movie like that.

As far as Bale, I enjoy lot of his work but would also like to see him stay in films like American Psycho, The Machinist, or Red Dawn then make 3 Batmans and 3 Terminator movies. But I guess hard to turn down such offers.

I'm with you there. T 1&2 is all that matters. But I hear the series on FOX is good because Cameron actually had a say in it.

If bale brings the same type of personality to T4 that he did to the Dark Knight series, then i have hope. Keep it dark and non to cartonish. I'll give it the benifit of the doubt. Is cameron involved in these???

As far as Ironman goes... based on the fact it is an absolute cash cow and people in general seem to love it... i dont see them shaking up the chemistry all to much.

I cant believe its ONLY Wednesday!
