Default OH weee. DTS-HD is no joke!!!

Girls!! I just Alien versus Predators and let me tell the sound quality was off the hook!!! I could really hear the surround sound earning its money. Anymore titles that are recommended?? Long Live Blu...

The quality of the flick notwithstanding, I agree. I haven't seen AVP yet, but with AVPR the sound was awesome at least.

I had my receiver set to like a meager 8 on the dial, and it was blasting my walls off.

Oh sorry about that, yes the PQ was substandard for blu ray but the sound...sheesh! Is AVP 2 any better on PQ?

Haven't seen AVP yet. AVP:R was great on both PQ and AQ (IMO), but the story itself -- let's just say have fun with it (MST3K-style) and you'll do fine.

Very active DTS-MA soundtrack for AVP:R, I also loved it.

Also be sure to try ID4, The Day After Tomorrow and Live Free Die Hard.

Ya know, the dark didn't really bother me much at all. I know a lot of people likened it to watching a movie with sunglasses on, but I never once had trouble picking anything out when I was watching it.

Seriously, try I, Robot. From the opening credits listening to the underwater effects in all the speakers and it doesn't let up through the entire movie.
