Yamaha 1800 or Pioneer VSX-LX60 - Blu-ray Forum

Hi all,

I am looking at buying a receiver and have come down to two options the Yamaha 1800 or the Pioneer VSX-LX60. I previously posted a thread on buying the Onkyo 805 or yammy 1800 but I have just come across the VSX-LX60 at a slightly cheaper price than either of them. In your experience is the VSX-LX60 any good when compared to the 1800?

Im curios to know where you found the pioneer cheaper than the yamaha?
Is that model pioneer sold in the us? Every review I saw was from the UK

No I live in Sydney Australia and the Yammy over here is about $1900 and the Pioneer i have found for $1500 all AU dollars fo course.
