movies you DON'T want to see on BLU-RAY...

let's face it, not everything should be on Blu-ray...

some of my choices for exclusion...

-THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT (and its WTF sequel)
-BATTLEFIELD EARTH (john travolta's dreads in HD? no thanks)
-YOU'VE GOT MAIL (and i have my reasons)
-CROSSROADS (that's an obvious)

-SEVEN YEARS IN TIBET (i know this is already on Blu but, honestly, WHO ASKED FOR IT? it was one of the first on DVD, it's one of the first on Blu. someone tell Sony that it doesn't matter what format it's on...NO ONE WANTS IT! could have spent the money on a better Brad Pitt film like LEGENDS OF THE FALL)

-SOUL PLANE
(though, i can't wait for SNAKES ON A PLANE)

-SCHINDLER'S LIST (selling a movie about the Holocaust just because you can now see the killing of Jews...in HD...not a good sales ploy)

I am glad that you'd like studios not to release certain films on Blu-Ray because YOU didn't like them. And since YOU didn't like them, you'd like for the people who did like them not to be able to see them on Blu-Ray.

You are contradicting yourself.
By the very act of someone saying that they do not feel that something should be on blu ray they are making the implication that they do not care if anyone else likes it and their opinion means something.

Again, there is not one single movie that should not be released on blu and that there are not a number of people out there ready to buy.
If you do not like something, do not buy it.
Perhaps a smarter thread title would be "What movie will you not buy no matter what on blu" or some other variation there of.
At least it sounds a little less asinine.

This is a lost cause. If you notice his thread title, it's movies you DON'T want to see on BLU-RAY, and he's tried to say that he just means movies that you personally don't want on Blu-Ray. However, his first line is "let's face it, not everything should be on Blu-ray..." Now, that doesn't exactly sound like he means what he's trying to say he means. But what do I know, I must be "slow, easily offended and lack reading skills." At least according to the person who's been here for a full month now and is already insulting people.

If anything, I would say maybe any movie that's too old to be a decent looking transfer. But really, every Blu-Ray release helps raise revenue for Blu-Ray's continuation, so there are no titles I would say that I wouldn't want to see as a Blu-Ray.

I agree with the above posters - this thread is completely ridiculous, and so is your picture. Even me, the guy who has trouble limiting his own posts without repetition is comfortable in saying so. Also, I'm pretty sure an acclaimed Academy Award winning Speilberg epic about the Holocaust isn't selling itself on the appeal of seeing Jews killed in HD - but that any movie is more enjoyable in high definition, especially well made ones. I can't say I'm surprised that you are excited for Snakes On A Plane.
