ok heres my sitiuation. I have a 37" lcd tv 1080p and 1600:1 contrast ratio. i play my blu rays on my ps3 connected with HDMI. the ps3 has a upconverter built into it so when i play a standard dvd it looks really good to me. when i play a blu ray it looks just a lil bit better. now my question is, why arent my blu rays ALOT better than my standards. is it because im using a ps3 or because my TV is 0nly 37" or cause of its contrats ratio...what can i do. thanks.
