I also can't wait for this movie. I saw 'Last Crusade' in theaters when I was 6!

How long is it?

Anyway - I've been pumped, but I actually thought the second trailer wasn't as good as the first...after thinking Indy looked pretty good, he seemed stiff in the second trailer (showing his age more than we're lead to believe).

Regardless, I'm going to be there on day 1. Wish I could see it at the Dallas Northpark 1&2 in 70mm like I did the originals as a kid...but since that movie theater doesn't exist anymore, I'll have to settle for something less.

Gonna buy my tickets ahead of time online. I have a feeling this may be one of the first movies in a long time with lines out the door.

its only awesome if the movie is awesome for all 2 hours and 20 min you know how it is with some movies, they could have ended it 45 min ago and nobody would mind, but they decide to drudge on and on. i just have a feeling it'll be like most movies that are that long. slow open, awesome middle, then a long slow boring trek to the end with hopefully a good ending.

just trying not to get my hopes up too much, hype is what leads to disappointment

I agree that 2 hours 20 minutes is fine for an action/adventure. When you get into the 2 1/2 or longer realm, then there may be an issue.

Now if it was a 2 1/2 hour comedy...that's a bit much

It's Indiana Jones.... The hype is well earned! Trust me. It will be worth it. Also I heard it was actually 2 hours 3 min.

Yeah, how? SPielberg didn't film it in digital - plenty of articles to that fact with Lucas giving him such a hard time.

Hmmm - interesting. Though I'll see it on film if that is the way Spielberg intended it to be...better feel for what's he's trying to capture.

On the other hand, I was bummed when the digital version of Iron Man was cancelled at my local theater and I had to 'settle' for the film version.

This may be a good thing (for people to realize the obvious before going in). I think the thing this movie will be fighting the most is people closing the 20 year gap with the character.

Harrison Ford is back, baby! And at 65, I believe that he can still do it as Indiana Jones! I'm still kind of skeptical about Shia LaBeouf being in the movie, but we all just have to wait and see on May 22!
