I own heaps and heaps and heaps of DVDs, some because I enjoyed them, some because I loved them to bits, and some both all of the above and because they have a great DVD cover. Since quite a few Blu-ray covers annoy me - the huge "Maximum High-Def" logo on the front, the back cover being plastered with "high definition" "high definition" "blu-ray!" "high definition!" logos and almost the only thing on the entire back cover that's relevant to the movie is the plot text - If I have both a DVD and a BD of a movie, why not just swap the discs round and use the DVD box as the main storage facility? I mean, I've always preferred the look of the DVD boxes, and I bought the Texas Chain Saw Massacre DVD twice just because the second one had a steel cover.
Anyone else considered this? No thread crapping. |
