Default Difference in Fifth Elements

Hello.

Yesterday I bought the Fifth Element on Blu Ray. I knew there were two releases, and i was trying to be sure to buy the new remastered one. That being said... none that i looked at, specifically said "Remastered" on the packaging.

even online - i couldn't find cover art that said "New Remastered Release" or anything to that effect.

Does anyone know if there's something i can look at on the packaging, to verify that i didn't buy the discontinued release, before i open it - so i can return it if need be?

The white label on top - says "The Fifth Element Re BD" - i figured the RE meant remastered... but... i dont know for sure.

The remastered one has the TruHD logo on the back.

This review tells you how to tell the difference:

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/894/...emastered.html

"Editor's Note:

This is a review of Sony's remastered Blu-ray release of 'The Fifth Element,' released on July 17th 2007. This edition replaces the now-discontinued original Blu-ray version, released in June 2006.

Some portions of this review not specific to the remaster were previously published in our review of the earlier Blu-ray edition.

The images included in this review were screen captured by AVSForum member Xylon, and have been republished here with his permission. For more full-screen screencaps, visit this thread on AVSForum.

A note on how to identify this edition on store shelves: While the box art for this remastered edition is nearly identical to the earlier Blu-ray release, the words "Experience High Definition" appear in silver foil, (not gray), and Dolby TrueHD is listed among the audio tracks on the back of the box on this new edition."

I was very impressed with the Re-Mastered Fifth Element. The PQ and AQ are simply stunning; demo material for sure.

Best Buy has a decent sale right now (buy 2 for $30) and there are some great titles in the list.
