hi i want to buy a 40 inch sony Bravia full hd or 1080p hd ready tv what would you say is the best one i could get for between £1000 and £2000

You can get any 40" sony bravia 1080p in that price range I believe. I would do a search for "sony bravia 1080p" on amazon.com. You don't have to buy there, but you can get an idea of prices and which ones cunsumers rate the higherst. I would go for the kdl-4xbr5.
