Default My First Blu Disc Impression - AVP2!!

Well after having my new Panny BD30 for 3 days now I can't seem to put it down. Bought my 1st disc yesterday 'AVP2' region B and so far am very impressed overall - I especially love the pop-up menus. I also got 2 free Disney titles with the player - Ratatouille and Cars and I'm gobsmacked by the picture quality especially on Cars, although I can't wait to use the PiP feature eventually. My Panny automatically detected my tv at 1080p which is also a Panny (1368x760) but still delivers a 1080p picture I believe. I can't wait for tvshows to start rolling out 'Lost/Prison Break/Smallville/Nip-Tuck/Star Trek' and so on but probably my 1st Blu-tv show will be Torchwood. I can't say that I'm that impressed though with the upscalling my old DVDs they look quite grainy and not as crisp as my 11yr old Panny A100 DVD but could that be down to the HDMI cable as I'm only using a Whardale £10 HDMI and I don't believe its 1.3 - I am intending to invest in a more expensive cable in a few weeks though. Anyone think we will ever see the likes of Babylon5 on Blu?
