Default Can Sixaxis controller do "color" functions...

Hey Guys,

I searched the board for an answer to this question but couldn't find one. My question is this:

You know how the PS3 Blu-Ray remote has the "color" buttons (red, blue, yellow, etc.)? Can the SixAxis controller perform those same functions? This would come in handy because some "cheat codes" for games (like Rock Band, for example) require the color buttons but I don't have the Blu-Ray remote.

i know for a fact that the sixaxis can perform the same functions during a blu-ray film, but i don't think it can in a game. however, with rockband, you should be able to use the drum or guitar to enter cheat codes.

Is that so? That would be cool. So would I use the "fret buttons" for the colors and the sixaxis controller for the shapes (triangle, cirlce, etc.)?

No, the fret buttons correspond to shape buttons.

Even at the "Start" screen? That stinks. I'd really like to do the "unlock all songs" code. Don't tell me I'd have to buy the Blu-Ray remote just to do that?

do you have the whole set? i unlocked all the songs by using the drum set.

if you are having trouble on your drums, you can't make any mistakes and you have to be pretty quick with hitting the right pads.

The cheats are referring to the colours of the frets. It has nothing to do with the remote colours.

To unlock all of the songs for Rock Band on the PS3, with the drums at the start menu, all you do is hit the pads in this order. Fairly quickly, yellow, red, blue, yellow, yellow, blue, blue, yellow, red, blue.

Just hit the triangle button, and it brings up an additional virtual remote, where you can hit the color buttons.

That's only when viewing a video.

This thread is hilarious... You guys realise that he's talking about the color-coated frets/drum pads in Rock Band, right? Not the bookmark feature for blu-rays...

Nevermind. Ignore me.
