I have an existing collection I haven't touched in 15 years. I will give it to my son when he gets older.

yup, since I was a wee lad.

But I don't really have any collections I've been able to maintain however with the exception of the Superman/Batman graphic novels once they are made.

I have to admit, I collect just a few mangas (Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z) but I am not hard core by any stretch when it comes to other series..

only comics I collect are Playboys, they are all the comic relief I need, plus my wife reads them, so she says

I have one yes. The crown jewel would be a The Spectacular Spider-man first run issue one signed by Stan Lee himself.

I used to collect Simpsons and Ren and Stimpy comics. I still buy one occasionally if it's cheap.

I used to. Now I have 13 large boxes in my room and no idea what to do with them. Sadly, most are probably not worth much except maybe a signed Ultimate Spider-Man 1 and a few Alex Ross signed comics.

Since there are some comic collectors here. I saw a comic that had all the Marvel superheroes as zombies. Is the series worth hunting down?

I used to, but it just got too expensive. I started picking up five or six books a week, and then something new comes out and I pick that up, and that continued until it got up to like 40 bucks a week, and I just couldn't do it anymore. I never bought them for the collectibility, I just liked to read them, so I still pick up the occasional trade paperback.

Same here. I was up to 15-20 series at once, which started to add up. Didn't help that the prices per issue kept going up.

used to collect a while bunch of marvel comics. always loved ghost rider, xmen, and iron man. still will grab the odd GR when i come across them. i do still grab 1 of the marvel civil war graphic novels when i get the chance.

I collected them as a youth. I've still yet to sell them even though I've hardly touched them for years now.

thanks! I used to do Inking for comics! (Well I actually just went to school for it. never got a job for it) I just met him one day. it was cool.
