I have a bravia 46" xbr5, I'd like to have some suggestions or advice regarding connections.
The Tv has 3 HDMI inputs, also a optical audio OUT. The receiver that I have is Panasonic SA-HE100, it has a option for 3 opticals inputs plus a coaxial. Right now the toshiba HD DVD and a PS3 are using 2 opticals on the Pana. Soon to be connected is a Pana Audio/Video DVD thru the coaxial of the PANA receiver. Supposed I want to save some the wires on the back of the receiver. Instead running two opticals why not running only one: using the optical out form the Bravia and to the receiver? All the sound ( dolby , DTS, etc) from the PS3 and HD DVD will be preserve? Will it make any difference? |
