Hi just wondering if anyone is running or has any experience with these kind of built in speakers. There are several different model/types, but from what I can tell they all have an 8 ohm impedance level with mid range watt/power requirement usage.
1. Any recommended Sony or Onkyo 7.1 receivers to handle them --- For instance if the spec on the receiver claims 90 watts/channel that should handle about any of them?? Since the spec on the speakers give a huge range of 5-125 watts, thinking a receiver with 15 watts capacity is probably gonna overheat & toast??? 2. Could you use a pair of these in-ceiling types along with 4 satellite speakers, woof, and center to all work with a 7.1, assuming the 5.1 set is capable of 6.1/7.1 compatibility??? THanks |
