Thumbs up Alamo Drafthouse angers patron texting in theater (NSFW language)

The Alamo Drafthouse theater in Texas apparently upset a woman they kicked out of the theater for texting and/or using her cell phone in the theater. What follows is an angry voicemail (with language that is NSFW!) she left for the theater.

I like it.

What a stupid broad. How many times did she say "I didn't know I wasn't allowed to text in your theater" I love how that follows her claiming she was using her phone as a flashlight to find her seat, lol. Then the dumb broad says she's texted in every theater in Austin. Wow........believe me dip shit, people have cared in every theater you've done it in, they just didn't say anything. She might know that every movie has a message that pops up onscreen telling you to turn your phone off, but she apparently has never looked up from her phone while she's texting in the movie to notice it. "I'm going to another theater where people are polite" you mean like the ones were people don't have their bright ass phones out texting during movies? DUMB ASS BROAD.

That's awesome!
I can't believe they use it for their commercial! Obviously the swears are bleeped out.
Pretty cool!

I've started carrying one of my tactical flashlights (200 lumens) with me whenever I actually head to the theater. I haven't had to use it yet, but have every intention of shining it on any @$$-hat that decides to pull their phone out to talk or check a text during the movie. At that point, I'll simply ask if my light is bothering them as much as theirs is bothering me.

Good for them. Alamo, as well as every other theater I've ever been to, is very upfront that they don't want you texting or talking during a movie. This girl has no room to complain and I hope when she's trying to convince her friends that she was wronged they tell her the truth and let her know she's acting like an idiot.

No only if theatres would throw out all those dicks who chomp popcorn with their mouth open, very loudly eat nachos or pop/chomp gum. I paid my money to watch a movie not hear some ******* be rude as hell. Chew with your damn mouth shut!

At least she didn't say, "How dare you kick me out of your theater? Do you know how educated I am?"

I wonder what city it was in. I live in San Antonio, TX where there's a Alamo Drafthouse just 10 minutes away. I've never heard of anything like that before.

Send me a Link for one of those!! Lol. I've seriously been thinking of getting one of those nice Laser Pointers that look like a pen. Someone busts out a bright ass cell phone to use, I'll bust out my laser pointer & who knows, maybe it'll Fry their cell phone screen! Win/Win, IMO !!

Usually a verbal warning works for most people.

I often rip big ones and they usually change seats. Hey, it works, doesn't it?
