Default Who plays foosball?

Anyone here Play Foosball? I have three Foosball tables.... A Tornado for normal playing etc... and I also have a Garlando, and Rene Pierre for "Collecting purposes" although I play a game or two on them occassionally. I want to add a Bonzini table to the mix one of these days.....

I'm playing Foosball competitively (mostly for fun, but a little cash ) on a weekly basis.

Just seeing who's out there!

I've played for a long, long time. I used to play in tournaments, but that was a while ago. These days, I usually just play in a casual bar setting, provided they have a Tornado. I can't really play on Dynamo anymore, as I wore out on the allure of that old school flavor.

I still make wagers with unsuspecting lambs on the outcome of game, but everyone in town pretty much knows that it's not a good idea to gamble with me in foosball. That said, it's fun to play just for the fun of it on occasion as well. It's a very fun game.

My "tournaments" are just informal bar deals.... the place I usually go to has brand new (the steel-sided) Tornados... two of them... so it attracts some good players.... The casual bar-goer usually isn't too thrilled when you break out a pull-kick or roll-over

lol, ain't that the truth. I try not to do any snakes either, and stick to just basic shots - push, pull, some toe-tapping, et cetera. I could go an entire game just ripping basic pulls from the three-bar, without any of the exotic hubris.

I have to say though, when someone has a killer snake both to the pull side and push side, it's extremely hard to defend. Some hocus pocus can do wonders as well, depending on the levels of intoxication.

and intentional banks, and angles.... the novice never looks to defend them until you do it once..... and by then, they're so afraid of the entire "arsenal" that they pretty much just move around scared!!!!

Kind of related, I have a SuperChexx hockey game.

And a South Park Pinball game.

But I'm moving soon, and they will have to be sold.

I used to have a foosball table in my bedroom when I lived in LA. I had to give it to my nephews when I moved to SD.
