Default Blades of Glory finally here!

Man I just picked up Blades of Glory finally! I was originally going to get this movie back in August when it was supposed to get released originally. I finally found a copy of this movie at my local Target which only had 2 copies of it. It was $34.99 but I ain't trippin' since I will be returning soon though to get my money back I hope Incredipinoy found his copy that he has so long has been looking forwards to.

Here is the pix of the movie with the receipt from Target. People that want this movie should head out to Target since they seem to be the only ones that received this movie from any retailers or e-tailers.

$34.99 for Blades of Glory?? Is it really that important to you to get it right now? The movie is okay but to spend that much..i guess if your that much of fan...

I rather wait for the June 3rd release...well thats unless they push it back again.

What's the significance of this movie? I understand to each his own, but why are there multiple threads about it? Is it supposed to be an amazing transfer?

Why is everyone always so hyped up about this movie? It says it's coming out on June 3, 2008 on Amazon....

The same thing happened to me last year with this movie. I tried looking for it the day of release at many retailers including Wal-Mart, Circuit City, Targer & finally Best Buy all with no luck. I am glad I managed to find a copy at Target. I hope you find a copy soon, cheers.

Oh, I don't plan to get it.

EDIT: Thought you were talking to me lol. Anyway, it's $19.95 at Amazon. You should have waited a bit longer.

Since you were probably not a Blu-Ray owner in August of 2007 when Paramount abandoned Blu-Ray and went to HD-DUD then you would know the significance. Plus I am a Will Ferrel fan and like his acting. I will get my money back (34.99) as soon as my Amazon copy arrives which I have it pre-ordered at $18.99 so i ain't trippin', target has a 90 day return period and I expect to get it between now and 90 days from Amazon.

Oh yeah, this was the one that was released for around a week and then pulled when paramount went HD right? Just wondering, I wasn't busting anyone's balls for buying it, this was actually the only Will Farrell movie I liked. It might not be a bad movie to pick up when the price goes down. How's the PQ?

I still dont get why ppl pay 34.99 + tax when amazon has it for 20.95 or 19.95 with no tax (for most states)

Just puzzles me

Like my friend who got the two pack of national treasure movies for retail price today at circuit city

What's wrong with that? You order a cheap movie(sealed of coarse), return it to a store and get $20 more then you paid! Everyone win's, your in $20 and they get a movie they can sell.

The one that comes from amazon will be sealed, and that's the one that will be returned to target. At least that's what I would do.
