Which two films were the best 1-2 punch?

Good poll. Went with Alien/s as stronger pair though T2 alone is as good as any of them IMO

Both were extremely entertaining 1-2 films for me, but I have to give the Alien movies the slight edge. The reason being I think the Alien world is more interesting. The Terminator franchise is about the future, and theres some really good moments where they show that future, but for the most part its still just present day.

The alien films on the other hand have better atmosphere and a more interesting world. Its 100 years in the future, alien life (not just xenomorphs) apparently arleady been found but its still mysterious, theres the guy in the telescope seat (I refuse to believe it was an 'engineer' Prometheus is fan fiction IMO).

So for me its

Entertainment - T1 and T2
Atmosphere - Alien + Aliens
Characters - Ripley > Sarah Connor
Antagonist - Alien > Terminator
Music: Slight Edge to Terminator. VERY slight

The Terminator films were both mainly Sci-Fi Action, while the Alien movies had a split of Sci-Fi Horror for the first and Sci-Fi action for the 2nd. Another plus for the two alien films.

Voted for Alien & Aliens. I like the Terminator films but I do think that they are a little overrated.

Alien and Aliens are masterpieces. As much as I like the first two Terminator films, I don't think they're quite on the same level.

While I enjoy the first two alien movies, T2 is my all time favorite movie so my vote goes there
