amazon.de said 2 disks and our forum said 1 ? so how it the truth ?

All versions of Ben-Hur are at least 2 BDs because the movie is split over two discs. Some versions contain a third Blu-ray Disc with extras, but this appears to be a "movie-only" edition with limited extras and no third disc, so it would be 2 BDs.
