Question RE: PS3 SKU's in th UK - Blu-ray Forum

Hi all

Has anyone heard any rumours, or know anything about the possibilty of Sony releasing a PS3 SKU's with larger HDD capacity than 40GB.

At the moment we Brits only have access to the 40GB model (60GB if you look hard enough).

But we need bigger!

Any info, Rumours, Urban Legends (to a lesser extent)

are welcome and appreciated.

It has been that way for a while in the US also. But we have the 80gb MGS bundle coming on June 12 at least. I have no idea what Sony is thinking. People want more then the 40gb, and it is not just because of capacity, it is because of backwards compat.

If it is capacity you are concerned about, it is not that expensive or difficult to upgrade the HDD. Just spending the extra money on top of the purchase of a PS3 may be a deterrent.
