The porn industry will set the standard for everyone. The jest said, blu ray will be the standard for all porn film in the future. No war here for blu ray and HD DVD.

Porn had always lead the video industry. Blu ray has won.

Erm... I don't know. I hope so for Blu-ray Disc, but the market potential of porn on the discs market has dramatically decreased. Porn is now much more accessed by the web.

i want porn in high definition, redefinition, implementation, realisation and virtualisation... in 3d, with touch and feel, and all the rest of sci-fi. well, maybe without smell.

And we all thought that Blu-ray will get all the goods...well not so much right now...I don't know if it's the costs that drives adult producers away...or if it's just Sony being Sony...

The only real market for porn is for couples who wanna watch it or teenagers who hide it under their bed.

For single people, most will have a computer & most will go on free sites so i don't think it's as conclusive as "Get the Adult industry & we've won!".

It's more like "Get Universal Studios on board & we've won".

Cos you can get free films on the internet.

Here is another news story regarding Sony saying no to porn on BLU-RAY. A company has the right to decide what movies it wants to press in its factories. Perhaps the Adult industry will need to make there own BLU-RAY factory to press discs.

The computer is too small to watch any kind of movies...I would like to see porn on blu-ray. I would buy it. Besides I wanna see what kind of blemishes on the chicks can be caught on video.

I wholeheartedly disagree... not that I have any personal experience mind you... but from what I have read, men and women look at porn differently... Men look at it and try to picture themselves "in" the action... and the "action" becomes a fantasy of perfection... showing every little pore, mole or lesion kind of destroys that fantasy... why do you think the old star trek TOS used to shoot ALL the women in soft focus???

IMHO for most, DVD will be good enough.
