I'm probably one of the few who really likes this movie and I'd love to see this come to Blu-ray. Bruce Campbell and flesh-eating gorillas... is there a better combo

Wow, I knew I was in the minority but this is ridiculous. 2 posts in over a year? Congo is one of my favorites too. I think we have a long wait for Blu-Ray.

I would definitely buy Congo, but I hope they use the OLD cover and not that re-release cover.

I actually enjoyed Congo, not as a fine piece of film making, but for nostalgic purposes. However, I own it on DVD currently and that's good enough for me.

I'd totally get this. I haven't seen this one in several years but I enjoyed it when it first came out. It also has Linney in her prime.

I'd probably grab a copy too; not a great film, but still rather entertaining. Love seeing them apes getting cut up by the frickin' laser beam!

This is Paramount, right? I'll doubt we'll be seeing a release for it any time soon.

Yeah, the only way I see this getting released in the near future is if they were to license it to Lionsgate or someone like they did with The Phantom and other titles.

I agree. If phantom can make it, so can Congo. Both mid 90's movies with subpar theatrical runs, but heavily circulated on cable syndication.

Congo rocks. Not the best of course, but a cool little jungle flick that is entertaining and suspenseful with the whole camp-at-night-sentry-gun sequence.

The black guy from it is awesome and I agree Laura Linney actually looks hot in that era.

Totally will buy Congo for under 15$ - hopefully $10 though!

$10..is a nice price for this film. Ya..the camp fire scene is intense!..

I was always looking for Congo on bluray until i found this site and realized it does not exist yet. I was 10 when the movie came out and I loved it, I still only have it on VHS and would love a BD of it.

Well, is has been over a year since my last post on Congo, so time to make another whine. We probably won't see this movie on Blu-Ray until the copyright expires and then we'll be able to buy it from some company in Asia. Then I'll complain about the really poor picture quality. Such is life.
