Default PS3's Favourite TV

I haven't seen this posted before so I simply wanted to ask what HDTV you think is best for the PS3 to display it's full potentional. A long while back I discovered one the best HDTV's was the Sony Bravia XBR3. So I also wanted to know what you people think of this LCD, do you agree it's prenium? I'm sure plenty of you have read the high reviews it's recieved from sites such as CNET. I think it's the best because it's not too massive.. just the perfect size, the price point isn't so bad considering your getting one the best video quality tv's around, and lastly because it's LCD it's perfectly suitable for gaming. No burn-in's, can view it from many angles without any reduction and looks fine in lighted or darkened rooms.

So is the Sony Bravia KDL-40XBR3 LCD (40") the best HDTV for PS3? ^_^

Yeah...it's a good set and it compliments the 60GB (with its silver trim around the disc drive) PS3 very nicely. Paying the $300 premium over the XBR2 for the piano black bezel for that reason alone is worth it because the floating glass is also encapsulated by silver metal/aluminum. The picture is pretty good in 1080p, pretty so-so in SD, and the speakers are OK enough. I have this setup in my bedroom; 40" is a perfect size for a small 7' x 10' room which you can't give much room for a TV. Couldn't ask for more! I just wish the back of the TV looked as good as the front. I cannot wait until I play FFXIII on this TV. When the TV is off, it looks gorgeous too.

In March or April Samsung is bringing out gaming LCD's that do 120hz and must use HDMI 1.3 for increased colour depth because these sets are said to do Billions of colours! Other manufacturers are following suit later in the spring and fall. Maybe these sets might be a better fit for your PS3. The 37' from Samsung SRP is said to be $2000. Not to high for a 1080p set, 3 hdmi ports and the above specs. I am saving my money right now.
