dts hd master problems - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone having issues with dts hd-master golden compass ? Audio comes from rear spkrs and is very garbled and static oriented.. Denon 3800bd and anthem statement d2.... This has happened with 2 seperate discs,, all other dts hd-master dvds work fine, but golden compass ONLY has dts hd-master option.....The audio is not listenable at all and at moderate volume sounds like could damage spkrs.. Any help,,,,,, Thanks !!

I only know that you are not alone, I have seen threads about this exact issue here and also at AVS forums.

Thank you..... this has only happened on golden compass, maybe because it has only dts hd-master audio.. no other options.... i am confused.

There is a thread about this in the Movies section I believe. Or it's talked about in the thread regarding Golden Compass in general. If you set your receiver to 7 channel it should solve your problem iirc.

Yup it work BUT , if you done a Audyssey Calib in 5.1, it won't be ON in 7.1 (and you can't redo it if you don't have 7.1 speakers) witch screw the EQ.. A lot..
