I really don't like the post count being hidden. It's hard to tell whose a n00b or not, and it's hard for me to find spammers. Hiding it hasn't stopped post whoring, so I don't see what the purpose is of hiding it.

Please Iceman, unhide post counts

and im tired of you bringing up his age. he has done more for this forum than any of us. just because you have a title doesn't mean you are any more accomplished.

i understand what aaron is saying, but there has to be some better method. possibly mods / admins awarding a position based upon contribution.

Who cares if someone is a "noob". Who is to say that the opinion of someone with 3000 posts is better then someone with 10 posts?

that has credence, but the point being made about posts is that you are able to tell if someone is just joined to solicit personal gains, here to be a socialite, be a clown, or whatever

I would trust WickyWoo more than I would trust a member with 10 posts.

Then he should have Pmed Iceman and asked him personally rather than create more mayhem over a freaking number. Maybe I was I wrong, that number means more to 26 year olds too.

hmm, where do you get your information that it means something to me? in case you didn't notice, i said i understood his point not that i wanted to see post counts or that it mattered to me. please read what i wrote before making accusations

That's the complete opposite of what you meant. It should be "I couldn't care less". It's a common mistake and I'll let it slide, this time...

I thought I would miss it more than I do. At first it was devastating, but I've gotten used to it. I did like to look at the member list and sort by most quotes, is there a way we can at least do that still?

That was how I found bots, and you can't do it anymore
