God I loved the movie but Stoopit ending, not like in the Novella.

Not me. That movie was horrible. Way to preachy and religious. And don't forget the horrible ending.

I thought it was a pretty good Stephen King movie, until they gave it the Richard Bachman ending.

I'd definitely buy it. I almost bought it on SD DVD but I decided $25 plus tax was too much for regular dvd.

Although I'm a Constant Reader, it's not a secret that most King adaptations are far cries from the original novel. However, I did enjoy The Mist, and contrary to others, found the ending as stunning. I will buy this on release day.

Anything with Lisa Gerrard in the soundtrack is a winner for me... it needs lossless!

I was pleasantly surprised by the movie and would definitely pick it up. I liked that the ending was different from the novella, actually.
