I tried the search function on here for this subject, and couldn't find anything. Sorry if this has been started already.
I have also checked the various other UK style Blu ray websites but to no joy. Homecinema central, idoblu.co.uk, and theres another thats under construction - i forget the name but the 2 main sites i have checked seem to have links back to here. Basically as the title suggests I am looking to see if Blu-ray.com is willing to add EU/UK release dates to its movie listing? As a tru beleiver in the format its quite frustrating not knowing when/if a movie is getting released over here. I guess its because there has been so much news from Paramount recently and i was pretty devastated last year when transformers was snatched from us like a bully would your favourite ice cream!!!! I even check places like play and amazon and they don't have all the listings of movies that are announced on here. Cheers for your help. |

I do a bad job of it on the Apocalist's section B. But that post (# 4) also has links to other threads with European releases, there's a Blu-ray movies European sub forum, and several members also post new European covers and dates in the pages of the Apocalist thread. Probably pro-bassoonist and I (and maybe also Grubert) should or could make an "Apocalist B". And I'm sure the site will get at some point official release dating pages on the front from all the regions.

Can you explain this a bit more? As far as I've seen, Play normally list upcoming titles before they're officially announced. Can you give an example of a Blu-ray that isn't on their list, but has been announced on here, with a link to the details on here?

Hi,
I understand it must be frustrating, I have this site which I find quite usefull: http://bluray.liesinc.net/ Its a list of whats available on each Region and if its Region Locked, and has a link which takes you to future releases in all areas. I feel really sorry for our Russian friends though, as Region C is just rediculous. Hope this helps! Kelly xx |
