Default Blu-ray titles you regret buying

First, this is not about the lack of quality but about too much!
When I saw 28 days later in the movie theater, I was scared to death. It was awesome and blew me away. It came out on Blu Ray. I grabbed it since it was on sale for 30% off. Not a bad deal. I was disappointed that the picture wasn't much to shout about. I'm kicking myself since I forgot that they deliberately shot it with cameras that gave a documentary feel.
Also, for some reason, I think 30 days of night would have looked better with a slightly grainer picture. I also have it on Blu Ray. Still, it was a great horror film.
Some movies, honestly, are best left alone. Can you name any? I'm curious as to what other titles are better on the previous format.

I have to disagree about 28 days and 30 days. Maybe its a "days" thing...

So V for Vendetta is my true disapointment. I love this film, but the PQ is too soft and the SQ is lifeless.

I'm not going to include any older movies but to me. My opinion. Hitman and Dan in Real Life

I am so impressed with that statement. We usually hear the opposite, I applaud you sir for you appreciation of film grain.

As for me, although I got it for free as part of the PS3 rebate, but I regret picking Ultraviolet. It is the worst movie I've seen in a long while, and I immediately sold it the day after I viewed it.

300 let me down and not because of the film grain

edit: also 2001: A Space Odyessy was just plain boring. i dont mind that it doesnt have any action but to much talking and then in scenes when you want them to talk its like just quiet

I don't know, Silent Hill seems to look better on regular dvd to me. I mean, the BD version seems to be too "clear", too "sharp" for its own good.

Of course, like some people might say I am weird for hating Ultraviolet, I guess? Than again, I thought the Casino Royale's PQ and AQ are some of the better thus far in 2008.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Ghostrider was the worst 27 bucks I spent on a BD. I was seduced by reviews of great PQ/AQ. Should have rented it first...
