Default Help With First HDTV

I am looking to buy my first HDTV right now and am having problems making my decision. First off, The choice is between a Sony Bravia 40in. or a Vizio 46in. Now I know that the Bravia family is pretty high rated, but I dont know much at all about the Vizio company. If anyone out there could help, it sure would be appreciated.

I'd say sony as well.

But because this is your first set, maybe you want to get more bang for your buck? If so, Vizio offers the biggest size at the most affordable price.

If you can afford a 40" sony LCD, you may as well get a 52" Vizio. OR if 40" is big enough for you, Sony hands down.
