What program can I use to save videos I watch from my computer?

One Click: Print Screen button!

Then go to MS Paint, paste and save it to PNG format.

I meant videos, not images

Many video sources use Hardware Acceleration.
Hardware Acceleration will make many of your attempts at screen capturing a blank screen.

You either have to turn H.A. down or off, and if the video still plays, then take the screen shot.

Some players will snag the screen for you even with H.A. running full on.
Blu-ray - not going to happen without a work-around.

EDIT: Video? Depending on source, you may be able to use a capture program designed for the source - like Youtube.
Save2PC will do it.

Camtasia will do a fair job snagging video from the screen itself.
Uses some power though...

The premium version of Real Player allows you to save vids from sites.

Yes, like videos from YouTube.

I tried to enter the URL into www.keepvid.com and then use Mediacoder to convert the .flv file. I had some problems with this. I am wondering if there is a better way

Edit: I am trying Save2pc now

Edit2: lol on the site is says free software and when I download it says trial

Edit3: Okay the reason I am doing this is because I want to put the videos into Powerpoint 2007. The save2pc worked when I downloaded/saved the video but there is no sound in the Powerpoint.

you are talking about illegally capturing video of copywrited movies, thats against the rules here and may cause and abuse of power to happen
