I've noticed a lot of pretty cool users have been banned recently. Will they ever come back, or is it permanent?

A ban is permanent, but I have seen a couple people come back from it (Caligula comes to mind). Otherwise they will just say suspended.

Didn't realize McHairy was gone. I imagine they broke the rules. I'm sure people get chances before they are banned. (warnings and such)

Have to say I like McHairy but he had a mouth on him and sometimes you have to tone down what you say it's ridiculous the amount of animosity on this site and the stupid things ppl argue over. This site is for entertainment and educational purposes not to beat up some guy verbally that you wouldn't dare say a thing to face to face. Time to grow up. I feel bad for anyone who gets "banned" but honestly they had to have done something to deserve it....

There is a double standard, it seems that if your in the right "click" post whoring is acceptable.

Ive seen 16 year olds on this site accusing others of post whoring, yet them themsevles, are post *****s.

"Banned" doesn't mean permanently.
You can be banned or suspended for any amount of time.

McHairy was banned for posting too much obscene sexual content - this isn't an adult website.

Marcus couldn't help himself from post whoring, despite being given LOADS of chances.

You make your bed.

I'm banned permanantly from High Def Digest. So what, there's plenty of other forums out there. Move on.
