Looking for new Xbox game

So got a 360 recently and the only game i have is COD4, what other games do people recommend?

Dead Rising-29.99 or less now (platinum hits)
Sandbox-3rd person Mall Zombie attack game. Awesome game, fighting through crowds of zombies with a baseball bat that could break at any moment is tense. Some unlockables will allow you to play in a Mega Man costume. (yes, it is that awesome) When you die you can continue from the last save or start the game over with your saved stats.

Crackdown-29.99 or less
Sandbox-3rd person Cop superhero game, guns+driving, really a blast to jump around a huge city. In some ways more enjoyable to me than GTAIV. Level up your stats by various acts, can climb nearly everything once you're agile enough.

I'll echo: Bioshock, Gears, Mass Effect, and Blue Dragon (only if you like old school jrpgs though and don't mind the kiddie characters)

Good luck, there are a ton of good games on the 360, and many of them are 30$ or less at this point

All xbox owners I recommend GameStop. Hate the place, everyone there is a fanboy of the 360 so I am sure they would be very resourceful

COD4 is a great game, here's a few others I own that I highly recommend:

-- The Simpsons Game (if you're of the show)
-- Mass Effects (great sci-fi RPG)
-- Lego Star Wars: Complete Saga (this game has been sucking up my time lately like no others--it's like crack to me right now)
-- Fable
-- Dark Messiah of Might & Magic

Also, I love Bankshot Billiards 2 and Arkadian Warriors on Arcade.

dead rising and crack down are both great fun and you can sink alot of time into them and most likely be able to get them on the cheap now , bioshock is also great

Yes in off-topic anything can be posted or asked so you did nothing wrong. It's why this section exists. Why it bothers some people I don't understand. Actually, I think I do know the answer, it's to just say something for the sake of saying something. I know it's difficult but go read something else if you don't like the topic. The title gives away the content of the thread.

To answer your question, HALO 3 is pretty cool as well. The story mode is a little short but still great. Crackdown was a TON of fun for me and had great graphics, one of my faves. I hope they make a sequel.

No sequel to crackdown.. it was announced a few months back from ign.. they canceled it -_-V

Aww crap. Did they say why? I didn't even know it was being considered. Did you like the game too?

EDIT: Seems they still think it may happen eventually as of Feb according to the VP.

From what i remember, they said they hadnt even started it. They wanted to do one, but MS hadnt given them an answer yes/no on whether they wanted one. So they moved onto something else. MS then told them they wanted a sequel, but they had already started a new game. They said this does not mean there wont ever be a sequel, just that it isnt their next game. They will most likely do it after they finish this game.

You remember correctly. that is what I just read everywhere, MS took too long to give the green light and they moved on, but the Microsoft VP just said they may do it still. I loved this game. Probably my fave on 360 so far. Mercenaries was cool too and there is a sequel to that very soon.
